Byron Glacier

A fun day trip we took with Natasha while she was in Alaska was to Byron Glacier (near Portage). After a short mile-long hike from the trail head we spotted the glacier.

Once we got to the end of the well maintained trail, we had to climb over a field of boulders in order to actually get to the face of the glacier.

Natasha and Liz both thought it was worth the effort.
