Busy, Busy, Busy!!!

As you may have guessed from our lack of posting over the past few months, we have been rather busy. Some would even say "too busy". Depending on the day, we would agree with you. Here is a brief summary of our lives over the past few months:

* Brent started working as a Crew Leader in remote Alaska with the 2010 Census. This has involved extensive traveling (30-40 days since mid-March). So far he's been to Delta Junction, Birch Creek, Barrow, Sitka, and Ketchikan, as well as working in the Anchorage/Eagle River area.

* Liz started working as an Enumerator with the 2010 Census in the Anchorage/Eagle River area. Liz wanted to work for the Census in 2000, but wasn't able to at that time, so this is a long-time wish fulfilled.

* We moved to Birchwood Camp (UMC) in Chugiak, where we serve as the Camp Host Couple.

* Liz also works p/t as the summer cook's assistant here, preparing lots of yummy food for scores of campers and staff.

* We also enjoy facilitating groups on the the Challenge Course (games, low ropes, initiatives, etc.).

We'll try to update our blog on our past life as our schedule permits.
