On July 10, we celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary. We started out the day with front row seats to a musical. It was the final dress rehearsal of Daniel and the Lion's Den before the children of Music and Drama Camp took their show on the road. Afterward, we drove down to Girdwood, where we lived last year. We celebrated at the Double Musky, one of the premier restaurants in Girdwood.
We had a great window seat overlooking a candy-apple-red '57 Chevy Bel Air (a true classic) and had an even better meal, French pepper steak (one of the best steaks either of us has ever eaten), and amazing jalapeno cheese bread.

The weather was rainy - very common in Girdwood. Afterward, we got some coconut cream pie at Peggy's in Anchorage (Peggy's is known for their pies) and took a drive up Arctic Valley Rd. The view was breath-taking. We could see most of Anchorage. It was a special day to celebrate a special relationship.
Thanks for sharing your 11th anniversary with us. Looks like it was a wonderful day. We miss Girdwood.....pot holes & all.
