Quay's Visit: Girdwood Friends, Great Pizza

We've blogged before about the best pizza in Girdwood. Quay is a pizza aficionado, so we thought it fitting and proper to expose him to the best pizza in Girdwood.

As usual, Denise's gourmet spelt-crust pizzas did not disappoint. It's worth zooming in on these images. The best ingredients, such as artichokes, sun dried tomatoes, olives, homemade salmon sausage, feta, pesto, fresh basil, spinach, onions, garlic, mozzarella, mushrooms, and other quality herbs and veggies from their garden are fortunate enough to be selected for her pizza.

In addition to the best pizza in Girdwood, we got to eat it with our friends Jonathan, Shannon, and little Dmitrii, who were our original raison d'etre in Girdwood (we took care of their home and dogs while they were overseas adopting Dmitrii). Speaking of which, Dmitrii is growing and developing at an amazing pace thanks to some very intentional parenting.

This is us with John and Denise. They were among our first friends in Girdwood and taught us not only how to survive, but how to thrive in Alaska. We are very blessed to have such great friends in Girdwood.
