Quay's Visit: Winner Creek Trail

In addition to hiking Mt. Alyeska, we also hiked Winner Creek Trail.

The trail crosses several creeks and offers picturesque views.

Here is Quay by one of the many waterfalls along the trail.

The highlight of the trail is the hand tram (built largely by volunteers in 2001), which spans Glacier Creek.

Here's a picture of Brent with an older gentleman who wanted to see the view from the center of the gorge, but was hesitant to take the trip by himself.

The hand tram is human powered. You pull yourself across using the tow rope that runs through the car. Check out the video (filmed from the creek below).
