Rather than simply shovel the snow off the deck as we have been doing regularly for the past week or so, we decided to make a maze for Chase, the cat that we are caring for. We shoveled out a narrow path that meanders around the deck from the window to the door. Chase has gotten quicker at the maze each time he has run it.

I really enjoyed this post! I heard that cats will stare at anything that is new to the surroundings. Maybe stick a frozen skunk in the wall of the maze after a few days and see what she does. You have one, right?
